Kennedy was assassinated) sneaked in an amendment forbidding Christian pastors from discussing or exposing current politics (or politicians) that contradicted or opposed basic Biblical laws and principles. He did this because a number of pastors in Johnson's home state of Texas were challenging his Communist (Soviet - Atheistic) doctrines.
Prior to 1954 our nation allowed (and even expected) faithful Christian pastors to hold our politicians (and nation) accountable to basic Biblical laws and principles. But, ever since the "Johnson Law" was passed forbidding pastors ("shepherds") from discussing and exposing policies and politicians to the voters (the "flocks") in their churches (through threats of losing tax exemptions), most of the appointed "watchmen" in our churches across our nation have remained silent as they watched (and many even encouraged) Godless, ignorant, and dangerous men and women approach and enter in and turn our country away from "One nation under God" into "Another nation against God" while the flocks were sleeping.
Through the earnest prayers of our founders, God raised up a nation where our (earthly) King is "The Rule of Law" (framed by our Constitution and founded upon God's Law and God's Word.) Our President, Congress, and Supreme Court are to be separate and equal divisions of power under our "King" (The Rule of Law) ... and within our borders no single person or group of people was ever to be allowed "above," "outside," or "immune from" our Rule of Law (the "King" which God set above this nation.).
Our founders warned this form of government required a Godly people who feared God and trusted in God's Word. In God's eyes the elected leaders of a Constitutional Republic are simply mirrors reflecting the people of that nation.

We are commanded in the Bible to "salute the rank" and show respect and submit to the authority of those placed over us. Yet, we are also commanded to be the "light" in a dark world and to warn others of the judgment which will fall upon this nation whose leaders have turned their backs and our nation's back against God (just as John the Baptist shined the light of God's Word upon Rome's ruler in Israel ... and as all God's prophets warned the rulers and people when their actions were in opposition and rebellion against the Word of God.)
Contrary to what many large churches and denominations now teach, the Bible never says the "Church" (body of believers) will subdue the world, or solve the world's (or nation's) problems, or end the "wars", "famine", "poverty", "disease", "immorality", and "violence" (in fact the Bible warns these will continue to grow worse and worse) ... but, the believing "Church" is to tell people about the "good news" of having their sins forgiven and having the hope and promise of life everlasting in the Kingdom of Heaven by turning away ("repenting") from their sinful ways and placing all their trust (and love) in Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew) the "King of kings."
But, as in the days after God raised up the Godly king Josiah (2 Kings 23), the sins of the earlier king Manasseh who "spilled much innocent blood" (sacrificing babies to Molech ... which we now call "abortion"), were so great (and so foul) in God's eyes that God would not turn from "His burning wrath" against Judah (which He soon destroyed and sent into captivity). (Prophecies: The coming "Apocalypse" and Armageddon ... "The Day of God's Wrath")
It is God (through Jesus Christ) who will crush this rebellion against His Word and it is God (through Jesus Christ) who will then establish His Kingdom of righteousness and goodness upon the Earth while seated on His Throne in Jerusalem. (Prophecies of Messiah's Return)

"By causing them (babies) to pass through the fire ..." Back then, unwanted babies were "offered" to Molech (a 'god' of lust and pleasure) by placing the baby onto the glowing (outstretched) arms of a bronze statue which was placed in a red-hot fire. Do a study of Molech (an idol, false god) or passing babies "through the fire" in the Bible and you will find God will judge a nation (and a world) for the killing of babies for convenience. God says a lot about this killing of unwanted babies ("passing sons and daughters through the fire") in the Bible. The technology we now use to kill these unwanted babies is different, but the intent is exactly the same. Now, instead of calling them "priests" we call them "doctors," and instead of burning (roasting) the babies alive (passing them "through the fire"), we cut them into little pieces while they're still alive and call it "abortion." God sees it and it causes Him to cry out in agony and anger. This is one more reason why the coming Apocalypse is also called "The Day of God's Wrath" which will come upon a "morally corrupt" and "violent" generation. Also, the Bible warns us that "not only those who do such things, but also all those who approve of those who do such things" will be held just as guilty.
Please remember, our God is a forgiving God who is filled with grace and mercy, and even those who have done or approved of such things can still be washed clean and forgiven through the "blood of the Lamb of God," our Lord, the only One who can now save us from our sins, Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew).

"By causing them (babies) to pass through the fire ..." Through the prophet Ezekiel God warned those children of Israel living in the Diaspora ...

Let’s look in the Bible at two activities that God Himself links to profaning His Holy Name . . .
Leviticus 18:21-22
"And you shall not let any of your descendants (children)
pass through the fire to Molech,
Nor shall you profane the Name of your God: I am the LORD.
You shall not lie with a male as with a woman.
It is an abomination."
What are two activities which God links to profaning His Holy Name?
1. ABORTION. Passing descendants (babies) "through the fire". . .
Do a study of Molech and "passing children through the fire" in the Bible and you will find they refer to sacrificing babies for pleasure and convenience. Today we call this baby sacrifice "abortion." In ancient days people would place a small statue in a fire until the arms of the statue turned red hot and started to glow. Then, an unwanted baby would "pass through the fire" by having the priest (doctor) place the small baby on the glowing arms in the fire in order to kill, or "offer" this unwanted baby to Molech, the "god" of pleasure (convenience is a form of pleasure). Although our methods and technology have changed, the result and the intent are the same - abortion is sacrificing a baby to a god of pleasure and convenience. If you study this abomination and profane activity of abortion - "passing children through the fire" (worshiping Molech) in the Bible, you will find it not only incites and angers God, but it also deeply affects and grieves Him . . .

2. HOMOSEXUALITY. Men lying with men as a woman.
The Bible is not ambiguous in its message concerning homosexuality. God never judges anybody or calls for capital punishment against anything that is simply "genetic." God never calls anything "profane" or an "abomination" if it is a genetic defect. Homosexuality is not new. When we study the passages concerning Sodom and Gomorrah, it appears homosexuality, or sodomy, is symptomatic of a people who have willfully rejected and defiantly mock God’s laws in order to do "that which is right in their own eyes." A Hebrew writer wrote recently "Gai Ben Hinnom (a valley outside Jerusalem) was the source of the word Gehenna, or HELL, because it was where those who ignored, disobeyed, and rebelled against God's Word would sacrifice children." It was necessary to keep fires burning day and night there to try and cover the terrible stench of rotting corpses. Their government funded it and the "religious leaders" of the day either supported the government or remained silent, while ignoring, beating, imprisoning, and killing every prophet which God sent warning the leaders and people to stop or face the consequences. God soon poured His terrible wrath out upon that nation, city, and people ... and through the "sword, pestilence, and famine" multitudes were killed and left lying unburied across the land "like dung in the fields."

Today, the very foundation upon which the Democrat Party stands (its Party "Platform") is now BUILT upon aborting (killing) millions of unwanted children ... while many "religious leaders" and churches now either support them or remain silent. NOTE to Christians: We must remember that our sins are no better than anybody else's ... and their sins are no worse than ours. The difference is that by realizing we are sinners (with no hope for Heaven) and then trusting in Jesus Christ as our Savior, all of our sins have been completely "washed away" and "paid for" by the shed blood and suffering of the Lamb of God (Messiah). Also remember, we are no more "righteous" than any other, but after being "washed clean" through His Blood we are then clothed in HIS Righteousness (not ours) and He placed upon Himself our "filthy rags" of "unrighteousness" while He suffered and died on the Cross for us. His Resurrection from the grave proves His "sacrifice" was found acceptable to God which now provides us with the Hope and Promise of a new life ... an eternal life that lies ahead ... where we will find our rest, peace, comfort, joy, laughter, excitement, and awe forever in the Kingdom of Heaven. Back then, unwanted babies were "offered" to Molech (a 'god' of lust and pleasure) by placing the baby onto the glowing (outstretched) arms of a bronze statue which was placed in a red-hot fire. Do a study of Molech (an idol, false god) or passing babies "through the fire" in the Bible and you will find God will judge a nation (and a world) for the killing of babies for convenience. God says a lot about this killing of unwanted babies ("passing sons and daughters through the fire") in the Bible. The technology we now use to kill these unwanted babies is different, but the intent is exactly the same. Now, instead of calling them "priests" we call them "doctors," and instead of burning (roasting) the babies alive (passing them "through the fire"), we cut them into little pieces while they're still alive and call it "abortion." God sees it and it causes Him to cry out in agony and anger. This is one more reason why the coming Apocalypse is also called "The Day of God's Wrath" which will come upon a "morally corrupt" and "violent" generation. Also, the Bible warns us that "not only those who do such things, but also all those who approve of those who do such things" will be held just as guilty.
Please remember, our God is a forgiving God who is filled with grace and mercy, and even those who have done or approved of such things can still be washed clean and forgiven through the "blood of the Lamb of God," our Lord, the only One who can now save us from our sins, Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew).
Study the Bible ... FEAR God ... God pronounced judgment upon nation Israel because they allowed this "abomination." A Hebrew writer wrote recently "Gai Ben Hinnom (a valley outside Jerusalem) was the source of the word Gehenna, or HELL, because it was where those who ignored, disobeyed, and rebelled against God's Word would sacrifice children." It was necessary to keep fires burning day and night there to try and cover the terrible stench of rotting corpses. Their government funded it and the "religious leaders" of the day either supported the government or remained silent, while ignoring, beating, imprisoning, and killing every prophet which God sent warning the leaders and people to stop or face the consequences. God soon poured His terrible wrath out upon that nation, city, and people ... and through the "sword, pestilence, and famine" multitudes were killed and left lying unburied across the land "like dung in the fields."

What Does The BIBLE Say About Homosexuality . . .
"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman.
It is an abomination."

They shall surely be put to death.
Their blood shall be upon them."

“A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man,
nor shall a man put on a woman's garment,
for all who do so are an abomination to the LORD your God."

"Do you not know that the unrighteous
will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God"

And God warns all those who simply "approve of" these things . . .
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven
against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men . . .
For even their women exchanged the natural use
for what is against nature (lesbianism).
Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,
burning in their lust for one another,
men with men committing what is shameful (homosexuality) . . .
that those who practice these things are worthy of death (Hell),
and not only those who do the same
but also those who approve of those who practice them!"
(Romans 1:18, 26, 27, 32)

Here, God clearly warns all those who simply "approve of " these things will be held just as accountable as those who actually do them. This is God's Word in the Bible. This applies to churches and pastors/ministers/priests/rabbis as well. If you are in a church whose leaders "approve of" or support this activity, remember the Bible warns many churches will turn away from God's Word and will "depart from the faith" and "will no longer endure sound doctrine" (1 Timothy 4:1-3, 2 Timothy 4:3-5, Jude 1:3-6).
The Bible is not ambiguous in its message concerning homosexuality. Homosexuality is not new. God never calls for capital punishment, or calls anything "profane" or an "abomination" if it is simply "genetic." When we study the passages concerning Sodom and Gomorrah, it appears homosexuality, or sodomy, is symptomatic of a people who have willfully rejected and defiantly mock God’s laws in order to do "that which is right in their own eyes."

THE TIME DRAWS NEAR ... The Bible warns Iran (Persia), with Russia ('Magog'), and a coalition of allies (including Turkey and Sudan) will attack and will invade Israel. This coming Russia-Iran war against Israel will trigger an IRREVERSIBLE series of events which will lead to the coming "Apocalypse" and the final Battle of Armageddon. GOD takes two whole chapters to prepare the world for this coming war. In Ezekiel 38-39 the Bible warns this coming war between Iran (Persia) and Israel will take place sometime after Israel has been re-gathered into Her land as a nation (which was fulfilled on May 14, 1948) ... this prophetic war has never yet taken place ... the only time in history Persia (Iran) has ever gone to war against Israel was to help Israel throw off the yoke of the Byzantine Empire around 614 AD. The Bible warns the US will NOT defend Israel. According to the Bible, Israel must stand alone ... with God. For when this coming war does finally start, the United States (for reasons yet unknown) will be unable or unwilling to help Israel defend herself. Although the Bible warns the invading armies will be ultimately destroyed by God, it will be a devastating war for both Israel and the whole world. Bible scholars are divided as to whether this coming war is part of the prophetic battle of Armageddon or will just precede the battle of Armageddon in order to prepare the path for the coming Antichrist (a coming 'world leader' who will enforce a 'peace plan' upon Israel).
