Abortion

What Does GOD Say About Abortion in the Bible . . .

"Were your acts of harlotry a small matter,

that you have slain MY children,

(notice that God looks upon these little, slain babies as His!)

and offered them up to them (demons)

by causing them to pass through the fire ..."

(Ezekiel 16:20-21)

“And you shall not let any of your descendants

pass through the fire to Molech”

(Leviticus 18:21)

"By causing them (babies) to pass through the fire ..." Back then, unwanted babies were 'offered' to a false god 'Molech' (a demon-god of lust and pleasure) by placing the baby onto the glowing red-hot arms of a small bronze statue which was placed in the fire. Do a study of Molech or passing babies "through the fire" (or "shedding innocent blood") in the Bible and you will find God will judge a nation (and a world) for the killing of babies for convenience. God says a lot about this killing of unwanted babies ('passing sons and daughters through the fire') in the Bible. The technology we now use to kill these 'unwanted' babies is different, but the intent is exactly the same. Now, instead of calling them 'priests' we call them 'doctors,' and instead of burning the babies alive (passing them 'through the fire'), we cut them into little pieces while they're alive (or poison them with a pill) and call it "abortion." God sees it and it causes Him to cry out in agony and in anger. This is one more reason why the coming Apocalypse is also called "the Day of God's Wrath" which will come upon "a morally corrupt and violent" generation. Also, the Bible warns us that "not only those who do such things, but also all those who approve of those who do such things" will be held just as guilty. But, please remember, our God is a forgiving God who is filled with grace and mercy, and even those who have done or approved of such things can still be washed clean and forgiven through the "blood of the Lamb of God," our Lord, the only One who can now save us from our sins, Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew) the promised Messiah.

In the book of 2 Kings we find God wants all Mankind to hear and remember what a political leader named Manasseh did which caused God to judge ("harm") the people of Judah …

“And he did evil in the sight of the Lord …

he made his son pass through the fire” (Today we call this "abortion")

(2 Kings 21:2,6)

“Moreover Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, (Today we call this "abortion")

till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another”

(2 Kings 21:16)

“Surely this came upon Judah at the command of the Lord

to remove them out of His sight,

FOR the sins of Manasseh, (God will hold a nation and people accountable ...)

according to all that he had done,

and also for the innocent blood that he had shed, (legalized "abortion" of innocent babies)

which the Lord would not pardon.” (He will not pardon the NATION which lifts it up.)

(2 Kings 24:3-4)

In 2 Chronicles 33 we find Manasseh later humbled himself before God and repented (by turning back to God and turning away from his sins), and God heard his prayers, brought him back, and restored his kingdom. "Then Manasseh knew that the LORD was God."

So again, please remember, our God is a forgiving God who will forgive any and all who have sinned against Him. Any sinner, including those who have had or have performed an abortion, can be lovingly forgiven and their sins completely washed clean through the blood of the Lamb, and then graciously clothed in His Righteousness.

God's Word TEACHES that human life exists in the womb of a woman … see Matthew 1:18, 20; Luke 1:31, 35, 36, 41, 44 and Psalm 139:13-18.

But, the people and their leaders hardened their hearts against God's Word and warnings ...

“But they kept mocking the messengers of God,

despising His words and

scoffing at His prophets (teachers),

UNTIL the wrath of the Lord rose against His people,

till there was NO REMEDY.”

(2 Chronicles 36:16) (Study the books of Jeremiah and Lamentations to see what God did ...)

God warns He WILL judge a nation and people who willingly follow leaders who deny God's Law. God warned what would happen (and did happen) to that land, nation, and people ...

          "They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons;
           they poured out innocent blood,
           the blood of their sons and daughters,
           whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan,
           and the land was polluted with blood.
           Thus they became unclean by their acts,
           and played the whore in their deeds.

           Then the anger of the LORD was kindled against His people,
           and He abhorred His heritage;
           He gave them into the hand of the nations,
           so that those who hated them ruled over them."

(Psalms 106:37-40)

God cares. That is why He uses such descriptive words to warn all who will reject, or ignore, or mock His Word and His warnings ...

"Were they (the people and their leaders)

ashamed when they committed abomination? (Abomination means a "foul stench")

NO! They were not at all ashamed;

they did not know how to blush. (Does this describe our generation and leaders today?)

Therefore, they shall fall among those who fall;

at the time that I punish them,

they shall be overthrown,” says the Lord."

(Jeremiah 6:15 ... and ... Jeremiah 8:12)

“BECAUSE Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations (shedding innocent blood) …

Therefore, thus says the Lord God of Israel:

Behold!

I am bringing such calamity upon Jerusalem and Judah, (and any nation that mocks God's Law)

that the ears of everyone who hears of it will tingle.”

(2 Kings 21:11,12)

"Behold!

I (God) am sending on them (Those nations and people that commit such things)

sword (war),

famine (follows drought and war),

and pestilence (diseases),

and I will make them like vile figs

that are so rotten they cannot be eaten."

(Jeremiah 29:17)

"They shall be as dung on the surface of the ground."

(Jeremiah 8:2 ... ESV)

“Thus declares the Lord,

‘The dead bodies of men shall fall like dung upon the open field,

like sheaves after the reaper,

and none shall gather them.’”

(Jeremiah 9:22)

"They shall die of deadly diseases.

They shall not be lamented,

nor shall they be buried.

They shall be as dung on the surface of the ground.

They shall perish by the sword (war) and by famine,

and their dead bodies shall be food for the birds of the air

and for the beasts of the Earth."

(Jeremiah 16:4)

“And those pierced by the Lord on that Day (the coming "Apocalypse")

shall extend from one end of the Earth to the other.

They shall NOT be lamented,

nor gathered,

nor buried;

they shall be dung on the surface of the ground."

(Jeremiah 25:33) (The coming Apocalypse ... the Day of God's Wrath and fierce anger)

A further warning to those who call things "Good" that God clearly (and lovingly) warns are wrong ...

"WOE to those who call evil good, and good evil;

who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;"

(Isaiah 5:20) ("Woe" is a terrible curse)

We have only one short life to sincerely decide whether or not to place our love, faith, and trust in Jesus Christ, the One who lovingly and willingly suffered and died upon the Cross while bearing all of the punishment for our sins, so we can receive His promise (and full assurance) of life everlasting in His awesome and wonderful Kingdom of Heaven ...

"And as it is appointed for men to die once,

but AFTER this the judgment"

(Hebrews 9:27)

But, for all those who will choose to reject or ignore God's Word . . .

"So it will be at the end of the Age.

The angels will come forth,

separate the wicked from among the just,

and cast them into the furnace of fire.

There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

(Matthew 13:49-50)

"For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world,

and is himself (his soul) destroyed or lost?

For whoever is ashamed of Me (Jesus Christ) and My words,

of him the Son of Man will be ashamed (on the day of Judgment) . . ."

(Luke 9:25-26)

"The Son of Man (Jesus ... Yeshua) will send out His angels,

and they will gather out of His Kingdom

ALL things that offend,

and those who practice lawlessness (sinning willfully … without repentance or remorse),

and will cast them into the furnace of fire.

There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

(Matthew 13:41-42)

Please Remember . . .

The Kingdom of Heaven is available to every man, woman, boy, and girl in this world, no matter who they are, where they live, or what they have done. It is freely offered to any and all who will receive it. Simply learn of Jesus, the promised Messiah, believe He died on the Cross for all of your sins and rose from the grave the third day and is now seated on His Throne in the Kingdom of Heaven at the right hand of God waiting patiently for the Gospel (“Good News”) of Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew) to be spread around the world to every tongue, tribe, and nation. Learn of Him and believe in Him . . . for He was the only one who has ever loved you enough to substitute Himself for you on the Cross (which represents the suffering that will be found in Hell). He shed His blood, suffered, and died on the Cross to save you from your sins and from the utter darkness, aloneness, and torment of Hell, if you will accept it, believe it, and trust in it. This is why Jesus is called Savior … His Name in Hebrew means “Savior.” He now lovingly and graciously offers you life in Heaven (and we are warned it is a "take it or leave it" proposition.) We have to consciously receive it and accept it in faith. If you sincerely admit you have sinned (and need a Savior to get into Heaven) and ask Jesus Christ to come into your life while fully trusting in Him alone to save you from your sins ... and turn back to God while honestly trying to stop doing (and saying) those things God says are wrong, you will go to Heaven ... and with open arms and tears of joy He will receive all who will come to Him in faith and in love ... It's God's Promise!!!

The only unpardonable sin is to reject (or ignore as a common and unclean thing) God's love and His free offer of eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven by rejecting His Son ... Jesus Christ... who stepped forth from Eternity ("from of old, from everlasting"... see Micah 5:2) ... not to condemn the sinner, but to save the sinner (from the torment of Hell) and who willingly and lovingly shed His blood and bore all of our sins and guilt on the Cross so we can be "washed clean" and forgiven of all our sins. The Bible also warns there will be no peace in our hearts until we make peace with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Jesus greatly loved us to save us from Hell ... all God asks is we love Him for all He has done for us.
