Vast underground 'oceans' of water . . . and the "Flood of Noah"
What many people fail to notice (or learn) in the Bible is the 'Flood of Noah' was mainly caused by the "fountains of the great deep" (vast reservoirs of water lying beneath the Earth's surface) being "broken up" while accompanied by a great rain and deluge ... both being caused by some extraordinary, cataclysmic, (and God-triggered) global event and judgment ...
"In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was on the Earth forty days and forty nights ..." (Genesis 7:11-12)
Here, God tells us why He destroyed the generation living in the days of Noah and cleansed the Earth with water ...
"The Earth was corrupt (like smelly, rotting meat ... a generation which flaunted their immorality) before God, and the Earth was filled with violence. So God looked upon the Earth, and indeed it was corrupt (immoral); for all flesh had corrupted their way on the Earth. And God said to Noah, ‘The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the Earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them (the immoral and violent generation) with the Earth . . .’" (Genesis 6:11-13) (There could have been close to a billion people living on Earth . . . only eight were saved. )
And here, Jesus (Yeshua), the Messiah, warns another evil generation just like the one God destroyed in the days of Noah will rise upon the Earth . . .
Jesus warns, "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be . . ." (When He returns ... for the 'Rapture' .. and then Armageddon) (Matthew 24:37)
Other verses warn this 'generation of wrath' would rise soon after Israel was back in her land again as a nation ... the world witnessed this historic and miraculous event on May 14, 1948! (Israel Back As A Nation: A remarkable mathematical prophecy!)
"Global Warming" or "Godly Warning". . . God is now warning and pleading with us to return to Him and His Word before it's too late ... for the Bible tells us God is patient ('long-suffering') and does not wish that any should perish in the coming 'Apocalypse' (which actually means the 'Revelation' or 'revealing' of Jesus Christ) ... but the Bible also warns (and warns and warns) that 'as in the days of Noah' most (not all) people on Earth will be completely caught by surprise when 'that Day' comes 'as a thief in the night' . . .
First Water . . . then Fire.
This time the Bible warns the whole world (with all those who arrogantly oppose, ignore, and mock God's Word and His warnings) will be judged and 'cleansed' with FIRE . . .
“For behold, the Day is coming, yes, all who do wickedly
will be stubble.
"Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent (turn back to God ... and turn away from their sins) and give Him glory." (Revelation 16:8-9)
"But the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the Earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the Day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we (all who will trust in Jesus alone to save them), according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new Earth in which righteousness dwells." (2 Peter 3:11) (Prophecies of Messiah's Return)
"Before the decree is issued, before the Day passes like chaff, before the LORD'S fierce anger comes upon you, before the Day of the LORD'S anger comes upon you! Seek the LORD, all you meek of the Earth, who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, (Doing that which is right according to God's Word ... and not Man's word) seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the Day of the LORD'S anger." (Zephaniah 2:2-3)
The 'unpardonable sin' . . .
The only unpardonable sin is to reject God's love and His offer of eternal life in Heaven by rejecting His only begotten Son, Christ Jesus (Yeshua), the promised Messiah, who stepped forth from Eternity ("from of old, from everlasting" see Micah 5:2) ... not to condemn the sinner, but to save the sinner (from our sins and from the darkness, loneliness, and torment of Hell) and who willingly and lovingly shed His innocent blood on the Cross so we can be washed clean of all our sins . . .
God's gracious invitation which He extends to every man and woman on Earth (an invitation to live forever in His awesome and beautiful Kingdom of Heaven) is a love story ... written in blood ... on a wooden cross ... lifted high upon mount Moriah ... in the land of Israel ... for all the World to see. We only have to sincerely accept it, receive it, trust in it with all of our hearts, and cling to it in faith as we endure the troubles and difficulties which will test our faith in this life. The Bible also warns there will be no peace in our hearts until we make peace with God through His Son, the Messiah, Lord Jesus Christ who lovingly and obediently substituted His life for ours on the Cross . . . and with open arms and with tears of joy He will welcome and receive all who will come to Him in faith and in love ... It's God's Promise!!!
Much is written in the Bible to help identify the promised Messiah . . . (Bible prophecies of the Messiah) (Messiah's Return)
"But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be ruler in Israel, (who we are told will one day rule over all the nations of the world) Whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting." (Eternity ... the Bible tells us Messiah would be eternal!) (Micah 5:2) (A prophecy of the Messiah from the Tanakh (Old Testament) written 500 years Before Christ.)
"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given, and His name will be called Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6) (A prophecy of the Messiah from the Tanakh (Old Testament) written 700 years Before Christ.)
"In the beginning was the Word . . . and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father . . . full of grace and truth. He was in the world, the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him . . ." (Excerpted from John 1:1-14)
The Bible also warns there is no other way into Heaven . . .
"Jesus (Yeshua) said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father (into Heaven) except through Me." (John 14:6)
Yet, there are many (as the Bible accurately warned and predicted there would be) who still try to place other 'prophets' such as Mohammed, Joseph Smith, Buddha, Krishna, and others alongside (or above) Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew), the promised Messiah of Israel . . .
"Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness (sin) will abound, the love of many (for Jesus Christ) will grow cold." (Matthew 24:11-12)
"I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, ("grace" is getting something we don't deserve) to a different gospel, (way into Heaven) which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, (hello Mohammed and Joseph Smith) preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed." (Galatians 1:6-9)
It is interesting the 'prophet' Mohammed started his religion "Islam" (Moslems) and the 'prophet' Joseph Smith started his "Church" of "Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" (Mormons) on 'revelations' they both claimed were received from angels! It is also interesting they both teach a different Gospel (way into Heaven) than the Bible teaches. Mohammed received his revelation from an angel (he sometimes called Gabriel) about 600 years after these prophetic warnings were written, and Joseph Smith received his revelation from an angel (he called Maroni) about 1,800 years after these clear prophetic warnings were written ... In many ways Mohammed and Joseph Smith are very similar ... they both claim 'angels' gave them their new revelations ... they both lure dedicated young males with the promise of many 'wives' in Eternity ... and they both accuse the Jews and Christians of 'changing' the Bible (yet they have never shown or presented any passages that have ever been changed) ... their 'new' books add nothing new to enlighten the reader over what the Bible already says and teaches ... and they both try to attack the belief (and the facts) that Jesus (Yeshua) is the Holy One the whole Bible points to, whose Name we are told "is above every other name" (including Mohammed and Buddha) both in Heaven and on Earth ... and both revert back to a form of 'religion' which convinces their followers that life in Heaven must be 'earned' through an unknown quantity of 'good works' or deeds (or by killing Jews and Christians) ... so, none of their followers (or followers of any religion who teaches a person can 'balance the scales' of judgment in their favor through 'good works, deeds, or money') will ever have the secure hope and promise of life in Heaven which God freely offers to every man, woman, boy, and girl in the world who will sincerely trust in Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew) to save them from their sins and from Hell ...
We can't 'earn' our way into Heaven . . .
"For by grace you have been saved (from your sins and from Hell) through faith (in Jesus Christ who paid for all of our sins), and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, (‘Grace’ is lovingly getting something we don’t deserve … we can't buy this gift) not of works, (our 'good deeds' can't save us ... and no other person, priest, or religious trinket can ever save us) lest anyone should boast." (it’s a gift from God … we haven't earned it or deserve it ... we just have to receive it gladly) (Ephesians 2:8)
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes (trusts) in Him (Jesus-Yeshua) should not perish (in Hell) but have everlasting life (in Heaven). For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved (into Heaven). He who believes in Him is not condemned (to Hell); but he who does not believe (in Jesus Christ - Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew) is condemned (to Hell) already" (The message which God has clearly laid out in these verses is staggering!!) (John 3:16-18)

Now, let's look at the historical facts of the Messiah's death and resurrection ... first, there were thousands of witnesses still alive at the time the Gospels were written who had witnessed His death and Resurrection ... second, the two powers of the day (the Romans and the Jewish political-religious leaders) would have done or given anything to produce the body of Jesus (Yeshua) to prove He (Yeshua) had not been resurrected ... yet, even the ancient historians of the time acknowledge they could never produce His body no matter how hard they looked and tried. And finally, concerning the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew), the very Jewish Peter (who was well versed in the Scriptures) writes we also have "the more sure word of prophecy" (from the Old Testament (Tanakh) ... written 1000 - 400 years before the birth, death, and resurrection of the promised Messiah) to prove Jesus-Yeshua is the promised Messiah who fulfilled all of the prophecies concerning His first coming ...
"We have also a more sure word of prophecy which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place ..." (2 Peter 1:19)
Here, (written 1000 years before He was crucified) the Bible told us Messiah would be resurrected from His death . . .
"For You will not leave my soul in Sheol [Hell], Nor will You allow Your Holy One (Messiah) to see corruption (decompose) ..." (Psalm 16:10)
The New Testament is written by eye-witnesses to the events ... there is hope and a promise for all who will believe. But, for all those who deny or doubt the Resurrection there will no hope ...
"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (from Hell ... and lovingly welcomed into His Kingdom of Heaven with tears of joy) (Romans 10:9) (But, if you are convinced not to believe you will not be saved into the Kingdom of Heaven ...)
What else did God tell us about the Messiah's first coming in the ancient Holy Scriptures (Old Testament - Tanakh)?
The Messiah would be born of a virgin
"Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel" ('Immanuel' literally means "God is with us"] (Isaiah 7:14)
(Note: The Hebrew word used for virgin can be translated both 'virgin' and 'young maiden' ... however, when the 72 Jewish priests and scholars translated the Scriptures (Old Testament - Tanakh) into Greek for the 'Septuagint' 270 years before Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew) was born they used the Greek word which can only mean 'virgin' ... for in Greek there is a different word for 'young maiden.')
The Messiah would be the Son (Heir) of God
"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given, and His name will be called Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6)
(Note: God appearing on Earth, as with the burning bush or Ark of the Covenant ... only this time God placed His Spirit inside the form of Man. The word used for the 'Son' of God in the Bible is not the word used in a 'Senior-Junior' Father-Son sense, but a different word is used which would better translate as the 'Heir' of God, denoting an 'equality'...)
The Messiah would be born in Bethlehem . . . After stepping forth from Eternity ("from old, from everlasting")
"But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting." (Eternal ... the Bible warns here Messiah would step forth from Eternity.) (Micah 5:2)
The Messiah would ride triumphantly into Jerusalem . . . Meek and lowly . . . riding on a donkey
"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion [Israel]! Behold, your King [Messiah] is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, yet He is lowly and riding on a donkey." (Zechariah 9:9)
He would be betrayed by a friend
"Even my own familiar friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted up his heel against me." (Psalm 41:9)
They would set a price on Him of 30 pieces of silver . . . which would then be thrown into the potter's field
"So they weighed out for my wages thirty pieces of silver. And the LORD said to me, ‘Throw it to the potter’ - that princely price they set on me." (Zechariah 11:12-13)
The Messiah would be despised and rejected . . . He would deeply feel the pain of rejection
"He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief." (Isaiah 53:3)
The Messiah would be despised
"He was despised, and we did not esteem Him." (Isaiah 53:3)
The Messiah would be despised by the world and rejected by Israel
"The Redeemer of Israel, their Holy One, To Him whom man (the world) despises, To Him whom the nation (Israel) abhors." (Isaiah 49:7)
The Messiah would be beaten, bloodied, and would die for our iniquities [sins] so we could escape the judgment . . . the darkness and torments of Hell
"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; (The Hebrew noun used for 'He' is singular and cannot refer to the nation) The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes [whip lashes] we are healed. And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity [sin] of us all." (Isaiah 53:5-7)
He would be Crucified . . . a torturous and agonizing death
"All My bones are out of joint . . . My tongue clings to My jaws; They pierced My hands and My feet, They look and stare at Me." (Psalm 22:14, 15, 16, 17)
He would be mocked during His time of suffering and death
"A reproach of men and despised of the people, They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying ‘He trusted in the Lord, let Him rescue Him;’" (Psalm 22:7-8)
They would divide His garments and cast lots for His clothes
"They divide my garments among them, and for My garments they cast lots." (Psalm 22:18)
He who knew no sin would be made sin for us . . .
"My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?" (Psalm 22:1 . . . also see Matt 27:46)
Note: With these words from the Cross, Jesus-Yeshua was pointing the Jewish leaders to Psalm 22 . . . The Jewish leaders who were gathered around the Cross knew the Scriptures well. Psalm 22 is a detailed prophecy foretelling the death of the Messiah, Jesus [Yeshua] on the Cross, written a thousand years before the Cross and written centuries before this form of execution was even invented - written when the Jewish form of execution was stoning.
He would be buried in a rich man's grave

Who loves the homosexual (or any sinner) more? The Christian (a follower of Jesus Christ ... Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew) is commanded to 'love others and treat them as we would want to be treated.' According to the Bible, a person living in homosexual sin "will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven" (1 Cor 6:9-11) and those who "approve of those who do such things" will be held just as guilty (Rom 1:18,26,27,32). Jesus-Yeshua, the Messiah's first command was to 'repent' (turn away from those things which are in opposition to God's Law) and then to trust in Him alone to save us from all our sins. He said He came to 'save sinners' ... lots of them ... the Jew first and then the Gentile ... any who would believe and trust in Him. The Bible warns until we acknowledge we are sinners and we desperately need a Savior (to save us from our sins ... past, present, and future) we won't be saved from Hell . . .
So, who loves the homosexual more? One who tells them it's okay to continue in a sin the Bible warns will condemn them to an eternity in Hell, or someone who is willing to endure the anger, ridicule, and hate to warn them and to try to get them into Heaven as a neighbor? In Proverbs 27:6 God says, 'Faithful are the wounds of a friend ... but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.' Jesus-Yeshua said more about Hell than He did about Heaven ... and the true believing Christian will try to get as many boys, girls, men, and women into the Kingdom of Heaven as possible. If a Christian truly hated the homosexual (or anyone willfully sinning against God's law) they would simply keep silent and let them suffer in the eternal darkness, loneliness, and torment of Hell. Yet, all believing Christians have had to come face-to-face with the fact we are all sinners and desperately need a 'Savior' to save us from our sins and from Hell. Jesus-Yeshua, the Messiah, commands us to 'love our enemies' ... and you can't love someone without warning them when they are in great and grave danger ...

Anyone who will humble themselves, turn away from their sin(s) and turn back to God and His Word, then sincerely trust in the completed work of Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew) on the Cross (to pay the penalty for all of our sins), and sincerely believe He rose from the grave the third day will be saved (from Hell and into His Kingdom of Heaven) ... It's God's Grace and God's Promise! According to the Bible, no minister, priest, reverend, or rabbi can ever add anything to Jesus' completed work on the Cross ... His final words are literally translated "Paid In Full." You can't (and don't need to) add anything to it. No other person on Earth, no number of 'good deeds', and no amount of money can ever add to it or save anybody from their sins ...
"For by Grace you have been saved (from your sins and from Hell) through faith (in Jesus Christ ... Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew), and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, (‘Grace’ is getting something we don’t deserve … we can't buy this gift) not of works, (doing 'good deeds' without repentance and a sincere trust in Jesus will not get anybody into Heaven) lest anyone should boast." (Heaven is a gift from God … He offers this gift out of love ... we just have to receive it) (Ephesians 2:8)
Neither 'good deeds' or money can ever buy the gift of Heaven regardless of what any priest, rabbi, or tv evangelist might say ... yet, the Bible says all those who have had their sins washed clean through His shed blood on the Cross will joyfully want (even feel compelled Spiritually) to selflessly (the opposite of selfishly) do many 'good deeds' for others (even our enemies) without expecting any honor or recognition, and will want to give money to our churches, ministries, missionaries, and charities out of love, and to prove our faith in God's Word, and as "Thanks" for what He has already done for us ... (and because Jesus (God's Word) tells us to.)
In fact God tells us if we are not offering at least 10% of the 'firstfruits' of our income or crops (which shows our faith in His Word) in a way that honors God, we are robbing Him, and He also says to test Him in this and He promises to bless us even more ...
"Will a man rob God?
Yet you rob Me. You are under a curse—the whole nation of you— because you are robbing Me (God). Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it." (Malachi 3:8-11)
