They would set a price on Him of 30 pieces of silver . . .

which would then be thrown into the potter's field

 "So they weighed out for my wages thirty pieces of silver.

The Messiah would be despised and rejected . . .

He would deeply feel the pain of rejection

 "He is despised and rejected by men,

The Messiah would be despised by the world and rejected by Israel

  "The Redeemer of Israel, their Holy One,

   To Him whom man (the world) despises,

The Messiah would be beaten, bloodied, and would die for our iniquities (sins)

so we could escape the judgment . . . the darkness and torments of Hell

 "But He was wounded for our transgressions,

   The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

   And by His stripes (whip lashes) we are healed.

   And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity [sin] of us all."

He would be Crucified . . . a torturous and agonizing death

 "All My bones are out of joint . . .

   My tongue clings to My jaws;

The Bible warns the coming ANTICHRIST will have a "religious" partner . . . a SECOND Beast will Rise.

Through the prophet Jeremiah God declared He would make a NEW Covenant with the house of Israel and Judah ...)

And Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew) REVEALS the New Covenant ...

   "And as they were eating (the Passover Meal),

     Jesus (Yeshua) took bread,

     blessed and broke it,

     and gave it to the disciples and said,

   "Take, eat; this is My body."   (Look at the Passover matzah (matzoh) "stripes" and "holes" then read Isaiah 53 ...)

     Then He took the cup, and gave thanks,

     and gave it to them, saying,

   "Drink from it, all of you.  

     For this is My Blood of the New Covenant,    (Fulfilling the prophecy found in Jeremiah 31:31 ...)

     which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

     But I say to you,

     I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on

     UNTIL that Day when I drink it new with you

     in My Father's Kingdom."  

     And when they had sung a hymn,

     they went out to the Mount of Olives."

We are to drink the cup and eat the bread to REMEMBER what He did for us on the Cross ....

   "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you;

     do this in REMEMBRANCE of Me."   (We are to consider and eat the bread to REMEMBER what He did ... )

     In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying,

   "This cup is the NEW Covenant in My blood.

     This do, as often as you drink it, in REMEMBRANCE of Me."   (We are to drink the cup to REMEMBER ... it doesn't turn to real blood)

     For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup,

     you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.  

     Therefore, whoever eats this bread

     or drinks this cup of the Lord

     in an UNWORTHY manner

     will be GUILTY of the body and blood of the Lord.  

     But let a man examine himself,

     and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.  

     For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner

     eats and drinks judgment to himself,  (this is why many good pastors will ask those who don't believe to pass it on ...)

     not discerning the Lord's body.  

     For THIS reason many are weak and sick among you,

     and many sleep (have died.)  

     For IF we would judge ourselves,   (and turn away (repent) from our sins and seek forgiveness through His Blood)
