Study: Crowds Behave Just Like Sheep ... People Blindly Follow 1 or 2 Who Seem to 'Know The Way'

And Jesus-Yeshua, the Messiah, graciously tells us ...
"I am the good Shepherd.
The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep."

"My sheep (who we are told will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven)
hear My voice,
and I know them,
and they follow Me."
(John 10:27) (How often do you pray to the Lord in faith to thank Him, seek His guidance or help, or pray for others?)
Jesus-Yeshua, the Messiah, warns those He doesn't "know"...
"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' (calling themselves
'Christian')
shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven ...
Many ('most' or a 'majority') will say to Me in that Day (of Judgment),
'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied (taught) in your Name,
cast out demons in Your Name,
and done many wonders in Your Name?'
And then (at the judgment), I (Jesus) will declare to them
'I never knew you
Depart from Me (departing from Heaven and into Hell)
you who practice lawlessness'" ("Lawlessness"
... God's Law is found in the Bible ... yet many ignore and oppose it.)
(Matthew 7:21-23)
"I never knew you"... How
do we know if we 'know' Him?
"Now by this we know that we know Him,
If we keep His commandments.
He who says, "I know Him,"
and does not keep His commandments is a liar,
and the truth is not in him.
But whoever keeps His Word, (as found in the Bible)
truly the love of God is perfected in him."

God warns us not to be seduced by the attitudes of the world. Do not casually embrace the fads, the celebrities, the philosophies, the politics, of any of the other "gods" of this world . . .
"Do not love the world
or the things in the world.
If anyone loves the world,
the love of the Father is not in him (or her),
For all that is in the world - -
the lust of the flesh,
the lust of the eyes,
and the pride of life,
is not of the Father,
but is of the world."
(1 John 2:15-16)
"Do you not know
that friendship with the world is enmity with God?
Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world
makes himself an enemy of God."
(James 4:4)
Remember, two of Satan's other titles found in the Bible include, "The ruler of this world" ... John 12:31, John 14:30, John 16:11) and "The prince of the power of the air" (television, radio, internet??) ... Ephesians 2:2) (Who Is Satan?)
Yet, the Bible warns that most will be led astray (away from Heaven and into Hell) by the world and "worthless shepherds"... worthless shepherds can include school teachers, college professors, political leaders, friends, relatives, television-movie-music stars, books, magazines who powerfully deny God's Word ... and "religious" reverends, priests, rabbis, ministers, or bishops, who claim to speak for God, yet reject, ignore, twist, and oppose many of the warnings and teachings found in the Bible ...
"Enter by the narrow gate; (through Jesus Christ ... Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew)
for wide is the gate
and broad is the way
that leads to destruction, (Hell)
and there are many (most ... majority)
who go in (to Hell) by it."
(Matthew 7:13)
"Because narrow is the gate
and difficult is the way
which leads to life (in Heaven)
and there are few that find it."
(Matthew 7:14) (For there are few who will have the courage to believe, follow, and trust in all of God's Word in faith ...)
The "Narrow" gate . . .
Jesus (Yeshua) said to him,
"I am the way
the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father (into Heaven)
except through Me."
(John 14:6)
(Any who teach that "all roads and religions lead to Heaven" are "worthless shepherds" (the "broad" way) ... for God's Word warns we can only enter into Heaven through Jesus (Yeshua), who lovingly paid the price on the Cross for all our sins, which is the "narrow" gate and "difficult" way ... (for the "many" will oppose, mock, and ridicule it.)

And here, the Bible also provides a clear description of the Generation who will lead the world into the 'Apocalypse' ...

blasphemers (mocking God and Jesus),
disobedient to parents, (the generation of Armageddon will not respect authority)

despisers of good,
traitors,
headstrong,
arrogant (haughty),
lovers of pleasure
rather than lovers of God,
having a form of godliness (professing some belief in a "god"... maybe even going to church or synagogue)
but denying its power ... " (God's power to heal, protect, to save (from Hell) ... to judge, and to condemn)
(2 Timothy 3:1-5)
Not since the deepest depravity of the Roman Empire has a generation so fit this prophetic description ...
