Hebrews 2 (excerpts):

   "Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard,

     lest we drift away from it.      (It is believing in Messiah's DEATH and RESURRECTION that saves us ... few churches teach that now.)

     For since the message declared by angels proved to be reliable,      (MATHEMATICAL Prophecy in the Book of Daniel:  MESSIAH Revealed) 

     and EVERY transgression or disobedience received a just retribution,     ("Lamb of God" received God's "just" retribution for our sins)

     HOW SHALL WE ESCAPE (HELL)

     IF WE NEGLECT such a great SALVATION?    (Please don't "neglect" to believe, trust, obey, and love the One sent forth to save you.)

    “What is man, that You are mindful of him,      (This passage is from Psalm 8 ... a prophecy of Messiah)
      or the Son of Man, that you care for Him?      (He IS the "Son of Man" prophesied in Daniel 7:13)
     You made HIM for a little while lower than the angels;    (So He could "taste death" to fix Man's "sin problem" brought forth by Adam)
     you have crowned Him with glory and honor,
     putting everything in subjection under His feet.”  (In Heaven and on Earth ... read the "Prophets"... Messiah had to come from Heaven)

     Now in putting everything in subjection to Him,

     He left nothing outside His control.

     At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to Him.

     But we see Him who for a LITTLE while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus (Yeshua),

     crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death,

     so that by the Grace of God HE might taste death for EVERYONE.     (ONE Son of God ... lovingly offered for ALL Mankind)

     For surely it is not angels that He helps,

     but He helps the offspring of Abraham.

     Therefore He had to be made like His brothers in every respect,        (PROPHECIES of MESSIAH from the ancient Jewish Scriptures ...)  

     so that HE might become a merciful and faithful High Priest in the service of God,      (Messiah came forth as Prophet, Priest, and King)

     to make propitiation (receive ALL God's justice and wrath) for the sins of the people.     (Not His own sin ... for He was "without sin.")

     For BECAUSE He Himself has suffered when tested (tempted),

     He is able to help those who are being tested (tempted).         (Finding Hope and Comfort in Times of Trouble ...)

God doesn't want any to perish in the coming "Apocalypse" (or in Hell).  We are told He has patiently waited this long because He loves us and wants us to repent, which simply means to turn back to Him and His Way, which is good.  He is filled with mercy and will wait UNTIL His Word ("good news") of grace and forgiveness which He now offers through His Son, the Messiah of Israel, has been "delivered" to all nations (gentiles) around the world.  As with Noah and with Lot, God will protect and shelter all who will listen and draw near to Him in faith before the coming time of trouble.  He warns us through prophecy so we will realize how perilously close we are to the end.  He wants us to realize how far from Him and His protection we have wandered, and to run back to Him as we sense the danger we are in.

During the coming "Apocalypse" great fire and heat from the Sun will SCORCH the people on Earth ...

Yet, those left on Earth will continue to curse and refuse to listen or return to God.
