"By causing them (babies) to pass through the fire ..."  Back then, unwanted babies were 'offered' to a false god 'Molech' (a god of lust and pleasure) by placing the baby onto the glowing red-hot arms of a small bronze statue which was placed in the fire.  Do a study of Molech (an idol, false god) or passing babies 'through the fire' in the Bible and you will find God will judge a nation (and a world) for the killing of babies for convenience.  God says a lot about this killing of unwanted babies ('passing sons and daughters through the fire') in the Bible.  The technology we now use to kill these 'unwanted' babies is different, but the intent is exactly the same.  Now, instead of calling them 'priests' we call them 'doctors,' and instead of burning the babies alive (passing them 'through the fire'), we cut them into little pieces while they're alive and call it 'abortion.'  God sees it and it causes Him to cry out in agony and anger.  This is one more reason why the coming Apocalypse is also called 'the Day of God's Wrath' which will come upon 'a morally corrupt and violent' generation.  Also, the Bible warns us that 'not only those who do such things, but also all those who approve of those who do such things' will be held just as guilty.   Please remember, our God is a forgiving God who is filled with grace and mercy, and even those who have done or approved of such things can still be washed clean and forgiven through the 'blood of the Lamb of God,' our Lord, the only One who can now save us from our sins, Jesus-Yeshua the promised Messiah.

God warns of a world leader who will soon rise and grow in power.  This coming world leader has been given around 33 different names and titles (which describe attributes) in the Bible (both in the Old and New Testaments) ... one of which is the "Antichrist."  The Bible says this man will not be revealed until after the "Restrainer" (the Holy Spirit - including the body of believers alive at the time) is 'removed' (as a note, some believe it might also include the U.S. being 'removed' from its role as a restraining world power).  This coming world leader (the Antichrist) will begin by exerting control over ten nations which were once part of the Roman Empire (Europe?)  . . .

You will find "Gomer" listed in this prophecy as one of the nations who will join the Russia-Iran led coalition of nations who will one-day attack and invade Israel.  The ancient Roman-Jewish historian Josephus tells us 'Gomer' is the land those (the Romans and Jews) called "Galatians" were from.  The word 'Galatians' comes from 'Gaul' which we are told is the area around France and Germany.  Encyclopedias will also specify 'Gomer' as the area around Germany and France.  We know the Galatians from the Apostle Paul's letter to the Galatians (written around 55 AD) ... and we find from history an army of ancient Galatians left their homeland around Germany and France (Gaul) and (after a number of conquests and defeats) were brought over to the highlands of central Anatolia (now Turkey) as mercenaries around 300 BC (which is about 280 years after Ezekiel's prophecy was written), and there they formed their own 'colony' in an area the Jews and Romans called Galatia (which means "Gaul of the East") and lived (and thrived) until the days of the Apostle Paul.  It will be interesting to watch as Iran (Persia), Russia (Magog), and Gomer (France and/or Germany) now all have soldiers and/or sailors deployed (or hidden like the Iranian Revolutionary Guards who have infiltrated Lebanon with theri "Hizbullah" forces) along the northern border and seacoast of Israel in Lebanon ... even though the numbers are now small, never before in the history of the world has this strange mix of armies and navies been deployed together along Israel's border.

The only thing God asks a non-believer to do is to "believe"... God (Jesus) did ALL the work ... life in Heaven is offered as a free gift!!! 

Yet, many don't realize God’s loving offer (see below) contains both a “blessing” and a “curse”...

   "For God so loved the world

     that He gave His only begotten Son,

     that whoever believes in Him    (to trust in Jesus alone to save us from our sins and from Hell)

     should NOT perish (in Hell)

     but have everlasting life (in Heaven).

     For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world,

     but that the world through Him might be saved (into Heaven).

     He who believes in Him is not condemned (to Hell);

     but he who does not believe (in Jesus Christ)

     IS CONDEMNED (to Hell) ALREADY"     (The implications of this verse are staggering!)

     (John 3:16-18)     

   "For by GRACE you have been saved (from your sins and from Hell)

     through FAITH (in Jesus Christ),

     and that not of yourselves;

     it is the GIFT of God,   ("Grace" is getting something we don’t deserve…we can't earn this gift of life in Heaven)

     NOT of works,   (we cannot enter Heaven through any “good deeds” we have done ... or think we have done.)

     lest ANYONE should boast."   (We are told it’s a gift from God … we just have to thankfully (and lovingly) receive it.)
