Note to readers: As with Portugal and Italy (and Iraq and in Lebanon), shortly before their elections a few years ago, Russia will use nameless (and "flagless") Islamic "terrorist" groups to launch deadly and bloody "terror" attacks and targeted assassinations shortly before national elections in order to help "tip the scales" toward their "leftist" (Marxist") leaning candidates and parties. In Italy, Portugal, Iraq, and Lebanon pro-US governments and leaders were replaced with pro-Russia governments and leaders immediately following terrible "terrorist" attacks against civilians timed perfectly before elections, or targeted assassinations eliminating powerful and popular candidates. As a note, they also attempted to assassinate Ukraine's pro-US president Yushchenko (see photo below) shortly before Ukraine's elections. It would not be surprising (just an observation ... not a prophecy) if some kind of an attack (or attacks) ... "terror"... "economic" ... or "military" ... involving the United States is launched or attempted sometime around the upcoming elections to help propel a committed leftist "Russia-friendly" (and atheistic and anti-Christian) administration into power. Also, Russia has spent a lot of media propaganda time and money scripting President Bush as the world's bad-guy and scape-goat these past 4 years, and it will be interesting to see if they would like to leverage their investment a little further before he leaves office. (Shortly after taking power, Russia's Putin once bragged Russia's global propaganda machine could turn a popular world leader into an unpopular world leader in 3 months.) On the other hand, authoritarian states like Russia, North Korea, Iran, China, and allies also need to conjure up a common "enemy" to keep their citizens' attention and anger focused on someone other than their corrupt government, so Russia may want to keep an "adversarial tension" alive in America while they continue to unveil their strategic plan ... we will simply have to wait to see what God has in mind ... for He is in control over ALL things. Over the years He has blessed and protected this nation more than words can ever say (Thank You, Lord!!!)... and at times He has used this nation to help restrain evil ... yet, from the Bible, we know He will also raise up evil nations to judge those nations who have arrogantly turned away from Him and His Word.
