Bible prophecy allows both the diligent and the skeptical to test God's word. The Bible warns a single generation will see the fulfillment of many extraordinary Bible prophecies beginning with Israel gathered back into her Land as a nation. The Bible tells us prophetic warning signs are given so we will return to God and draw close to Him through Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew) before it's too late, for God will provide hope, comfort, and shelter for all who will sincerely receive it . . . the message found in the Bible is not trivial ... it is staggering!!!
This weekly news update is being sent because the Bible tells us to know the prophecies and to "watch" for their fulfillment (which can only be done by learning and knowing what is going on around the world) ... many churches and synagogues today ignore and deny Bible prophecy (which in itself is a major fulfillment of Bible prophecy) ... here, Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew) commands all those who will follow Him to "watch" and be ready ...
"Take heed (to the prophetic warnings) ...
watch (what is going on) ...
and pray (see below);
for you do not know when the time is (the coming Rapture).
It is like a man going to a far country,
who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work,
and commanded the doorkeeper to watch.
Watch therefore,
for you do not know when the master of the house is coming --
in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning --
lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping.
And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!"

"Now the serpent (the 'shining one')
was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made.
And he (Satan) said to the woman,
“Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden?'"

Now, let's look at the historical facts of the Messiah's death and resurrection ... first, there were thousands of witnesses still alive at the time the Gospels were written who had witnessed His death and Resurrection ... second, the two powers of the day (the Romans and the Jewish political-religious leaders) would have done or given anything to produce the body of Jesus (Yeshua) to prove He (Yeshua) had not been resurrected ... yet, even the ancient historians of the time acknowledge they could never produce His body no matter how hard they looked and tried. And finally, concerning the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew), the very Jewish Peter (who was well versed in the Scriptures) writes we also have "the more sure word of prophecy" (from the Old Testament (Tanakh) ... written 1000 - 400 years before the birth, death, and resurrection of the promised Messiah) to prove Jesus-Yeshua is the promised Messiah who fulfilled all of the prophecies concerning His first coming ...
"We have also a more sure word of prophecy
which you do well to heed
as a light that shines in a dark place ..."
(2 Peter 1:19)
Here, (written 1000 years before He was crucified) the Bible told us Messiah would be resurrected (raised from the dead) . . .
"For You will not leave my soul in Sheol [Hell],
Nor will You allow Your Holy One (Messiah)
to see corruption (decompose) ..."
(Psalm 16:10)
The New Testament is written by eye-witnesses to the events ... there is hope and a promise for all who will believe.
But, for all those who deny or doubt the Resurrection there will no hope ...
"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus
and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved" (from Hell ... and welcomed into His Kingdom of Heaven with tears of joy)
(Romans 10:9) (But, if you are convinced not to believe you will not be saved into the Kingdom of Heaven ...)
What else did God tell us about the Messiah's first coming in the ancient Holy Scriptures (Old Testament - Tanakh)?
The Messiah would be born of a virgin
"Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son,
and shall call His name Immanuel" ('Immanuel' literally means "God is with us"]
(Isaiah 7:14)
(Note: The Hebrew word used for virgin can be translated both 'virgin' and 'young maiden' ... however, when the 72 Jewish priests and scholars translated the Scriptures (Old Testament - Tanakh) into Greek for the 'Septuagint' 270 years before Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew) was born they used the Greek word which can only mean 'virgin' ... for in Greek there is a different word for 'young maiden.')
The Messiah would be the Son (Heir) of God
"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given,
and His name will be called Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
(Isaiah 9:6)
(Note: God appearing on Earth, as with the burning bush or the Ark of the Covenant... only this time God placed His Spirit inside the form of Man. The word used for the 'Son' of God in the Bible is not the word used in a 'Senior-Junior' Father-Son sense, but a different word is used which would better translate as the 'Heir' of God, denoting an 'equality'...)
The Messiah would be born in Bethlehem . . .
After stepping forth from Eternity ("from old, from everlasting")
"But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are little among the thousands of Judah,
Yet out of you shall come forth to Me
The One to be ruler in Israel,
Whose goings forth have been
from of old, from everlasting." (Eternal ... the Bible warns here Messiah would step forth from Eternity.)
(Micah 5:2)
The Messiah would ride triumphantly into Jerusalem . . .
Meek and lowly . . . riding on a donkey
"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion [Israel]!
Behold, your King [Messiah] is coming to you;
He is just and having salvation,
yet He is lowly and riding on a donkey."
(Zechariah 9:9)
He would be betrayed by a friend
"Even my own familiar friend in whom I trusted, who
ate my bread, has lifted up his heel against me."
(Psalm 41:9)
They would set a price on Him of 30 pieces of silver . . .
which would then be thrown into the potter's field
"So they weighed out for my wages thirty pieces of silver.
And the LORD said to me, ‘Throw it to the potter’ -
that princely price they set on me."
(Zechariah 11:12-13)
The Messiah would be despised and rejected . . .
He would deeply feel the pain of rejection
"He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief."
(Isaiah 53:3)
The Messiah would be despised
"He was despised, and we did not esteem Him."
(Isaiah 53:3)
The Messiah would be despised by the world and rejected by Israel
"The Redeemer of Israel, their Holy One,
To Him whom man (the world) despises,
To Him whom the nation (Israel) abhors."
(Isaiah 49:7)
The Messiah would be beaten, bloodied, and would die for our iniquities [sins]
so we could escape the judgment . . . the darkness and torments of Hell
"But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities; (The Hebrew noun used for 'He' is singular and cannot refer to the nation)
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes [whip lashes] we are healed.
And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity [sin] of us all."
(Isaiah 53:5-7)
He would be Crucified . . . a torturous and agonizing death
"All My bones are out of joint . . .
My tongue clings to My jaws;
They pierced My hands and My feet,
They look and stare at Me."
(Psalm 22:14, 15, 16, 17)
He would be mocked during His time of suffering and death
"A reproach of men and despised of the people,
They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying
‘He trusted in the Lord, let Him rescue Him;’"
(Psalm 22:7-8)
They would divide His garments and cast lots for His clothes
"They divide my garments among them,
and for My garments they cast lots."
(Psalm 22:18)
He who knew no sin would be made sin for us . . .
"My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?"
(Psalm 22:1 . . . also see Matt 27:46)
Note: With these words from the Cross, Jesus-Yeshua was pointing the Jewish leaders to Psalm 22 . . . The Jewish leaders who were gathered around the Cross knew the Scriptures well. Psalm 22 is a detailed prophecy foretelling the death of the Messiah, Jesus [Yeshua] on the Cross, written a thousand years before the Cross and written centuries before this form of execution was even invented - written when the Jewish form of execution was stoning.
He would be buried in a rich man's grave
"He was buried like a criminal in a rich man's grave;"
(Isaiah 53:9)
He was innocent . . . without guilt . . . without sin
"But he [the Messiah/Christ] had done no wrong,
and he had never spoken an evil word."
(Isaiah 53:9)
The Messiah would be quickly resurrected (raised from the dead) . . .
"For You will not leave my soul in Sheol [Hell], (King David knew he would one day enter into Heaven)
Nor will You allow Your Holy One [the Messiah]
to see corruption [decompose]."
(Ps 16:10)
The Jewish Messiah [Christ] would be a savior to all peoples,
including Jews and non-Jews alike . . . thus fulfilling the Abrahamic Covenant
"I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles [non-Jews],
That You should be My salvation
[saving people from the darkness and torments of Hell]
to the ends of the Earth."
(Isaiah 49:6)
The Messiah [Christ] would be the Sacrifice [payment] for all our sins . . .
The only burden He asks us to carry is to accept it and believe it.
"And He bore the sin of many . . ."
(Isaiah 53:12)
The Cross was part of God’s Plan ... so all who receive Jesus (Yeshua) as their Lord can be washed clean of all their sins through His innocent blood ... and spared from the darkness and torment of Hell
"Yet it was the Lord’s good plan to bruise him;
put Him to grief, make His soul an offering for sin . . ."
(Isaiah 53:10, KJV paraphrased)
God (Messiah/Christ) would then return to His place in Heaven, until . . .
(remember Messiah is God who placed His Spirit in the form of Man ... inside a living Tabernacle)
"I [the LORD] will return again to My place
until they (the children of Israel) acknowledge their offense.
Then they will seek My face;
in their affliction [the coming 'Apocalypse'... the 'Great Tribulation']
they will diligently seek Me" . . .
(Hosea 5:15) ("Return again to My place"... means He had to have left His place in Eternity (see Micah 5:2).
Now, Islamics (or Mormons, or Buddhists, etc.) please show us the written prophecies of your 'prophet'. . .

--Jerusalem Post (In the Bible we find the Children of Israel are a royal line who should be blessed by us and the world ... however, we also find in the Bible why God has dispersed them among the nations and what He thinks of those who remain scattered in the nations now that He has once again put Israel back on the world map. when they said of them, ‘These are the people of the LORD, and yet they have gone out of His Land.’
But I had concern for My Holy Name,
which the house of Israel had profaned
among the nations wherever they went.
“Therefore say to the house of Israel,
‘Thus says the Lord GOD:
“I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, (bring them back into the Land of Israel)
but for My Holy Name’s sake, (God says He is bringing them back into their Land because He said He would do it!)
which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went.
And I will sanctify My great Name,
which has been profaned among the nations,
which you have profaned in their midst;
and the nations shall know that I Am the LORD,” says the Lord GOD,
“when I am hallowed in you before their eyes." (This will happen during the coming Russia-Iran war and Armageddon)

World-Wide Blitz Against Israel ...
--Israel Nat'l News (Prophecies...Israel and Jerusalem after becoming a nation) The world's judgment draws near as it now prepares to come against nation Israel. The Bible warns 'at the time of the end' all nations would turn against one nation ... Israel (Zechariah 14:2...Revelation 16:12-16). All nations against one nation sounds absurd ... it is absurd ... not all nations turned against Nazi Germany, not all nations turned against Saddam's Iraq, and not all nations have turned against the murderous regimes of Zimbabwe, Sudan, Russia, China, Cuba, or Iran. Yet, this ancient book, the Bible, which was in mass circulation for many, many years before 1948 (when Israel once again became a nation) stated clearly that God would one day bring Israel back into Her Land as a nation and then all the nations of the world would turn against her and try to wipe her off the map. When the US turned against Israel on Gaza, the first stage of this 'absurd' prophecy was fulfilled ... not one nation on Earth supported Israel's right to her land (in Judah - Gaza). Now, for many, the idea that all the nations of the world will one day go to war against this tiny nation of Israel sounds absurd ... or that one day in the future, this tiny nation of Israel will be the sole 'Superpower' that will rule the world under her King and Messiah, who stepped forth 'from old, from everlasting' and was born of a virgin in Bethlehem, the city of King David, exactly as the ancient prophecies said He would (see Micah 5:2). This same Jesus-Yeshua, the Messiah, our God who stepped forth 'from old, from everlasting' and put on 'the likeness of Man,' and who freely offers eternal life in His Kingdom of Heaven to all who will believe and trust in Him, warns all men and women of this world, 'You are either with me or against me' ... there is no in between ... if you are against Israel you are against the Messiah of Israel ... and He is our Hope ... our only Hope ... through the coming days.

The only unpardonable sin is to reject God's love and His free offer of life in Heaven by rejecting Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew) who stepped forth from Heaven ... not to condemn the sinner, but to save the sinner (from Hell ... the 'second' death) and who willingly and lovingly shed His blood on the Cross so we can be washed clean of all of our sins. But, we have to receive it, believe it, repent (turn away) from our sins, and trust in His completed work on the Cross with all our hearts and souls ... and the Bible warns there will be no peace in our hearts until we make peace with God through His Son ("Heir"), the promised Messiah, who would also be given as a 'light unto the Gentiles' (Isaiah), our Lord and Savior (who saves us from all our sins and from Hell) Jesus Christ ...
"When you see
these things,
know that it is near - -
at the door."

"Watch therefore,
and pray always

"Before the decree is issued,
before the day passes like chaff,
before the LORD'S fierce anger comes upon you,

Seek the LORD,

It may be that you
will be hidden
in the day of the LORD'S anger."
